Mascara Falls was my first-ever professional recording. It was a thrilling, hair-raising, mind-blowing experience. It came out at the end of 1995 on Oh Boy records (which is John Prine's record label) and got some really great notices. It was recorded in Nashville with Roger Moutenot (Bill Frisell, Yo La Tengo) producing. Roger also produced Real, my most recent disc.
