Known for his slashing guitar, somersaults, backward flips and headstands on stage, Shorty is a popular performer at blues festivals and stages throughout the world. Shorty first recorded in 1957 for the legendary Cobra Records, under the direction of Willie Dixon. Although he married Jimi Hendrix's stepsister in the sixties and is thought to have been an influence on this rock icon, Shorty's career didn't kick in until the 90s with a series of popular blues albums and fiery stage show.
